What do Bloom & Pitt have in common with Rob & Bob? Yes, you are right! They also have funny names... In the last month a lot of things changed: the view at the Gracht turned into the view at the television tower, Rob & Bob have a nice office from the beginning (but without roof terrace), living under white policy changed into living under troyan leadership and we have to prepare our salads now on our own. From the first day on, JvM is a real big experience. The agency is huge and the long list of clients prevents us from an era of thumb turning (Däumchendrehen). As we are in Troy a.k.a Hamburg, there are carafes of wine (water) that can be brought to your table, caviar (apples) to be savoured and you get fed with grapes (snacks for 60 cent each).
Having worked until now on a huge car client and the ADAC (german car workshop street service), our minds are set on rides that are not x-zibitized. And on a dessous and underwear company, that cares about boobs and asses, but doesn't want to talk about it. We already recognize that our scribble books are filling with ideas faster here than in an other agency. You can have stuff on your table and nobody complains. Your way of working is respected.
Hamburg is the small NYC. At least to 1/1000. Here is one skyscraper, the Radisson hotel, that gives us a bit the Manhattan feeling (ha ha...). You can do brilliant work everywhere as we said, so also Wladiwostok would be an option (see earlier posts) in isolation. I mean, it's great and a very cool opportunity to go to NY or so, but all you need for the best ideas is your brain. And because you can hardly screw a new head on your body or have a brain transplantation, you will work with your birth-wise given one in any place... and doing cool work. Surely a city can influence you, motivate and give input, but every city can do that. Wouldn't it be great and giving you input to look at the Bragubikovrazimov (if it existed) in Wladiwostok?
Even a piece of fly shit on the glass carafe that is standing on your table could do so...
